Carex oligosperma Michaux. Section: [26qq] Section 30 Vesicariae. Hab: Bogs, fens, and seeps at high elevations. Dist: NL (Newfoundland) west to NT, south to CT, c. PA, n. IN, WI, and MN; disjunct in ne. OH, WV (Hardy County) and NC (Ashe, Avery, Mitchell, and Watauga counties).
