Carex ovalis Goodenough. Section: [26q] Section 12 Ovales. Egg-bracted Sedge. Hab: Grassy balds, disturbed areas. Dist: Native of Eurasia. Known to range in North America from NL (Newfoundland) and NY south to w. NC and ne. TN.
