Carex diandra Schrank. Section: [26b] Section 2 Heleoglochin. Lesser Tussock Sedge. Phen: Late May-mid Aug. Hab: Swamps, bogs, peaty sedge meadows, especially over limestone. Dist: Circumboreal, south in North America to w. MD, PA, TN, OH, IL, CO, CA; also reported from TN on the basis of a destroyed specimen.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy: = C, F, FNA23, G, GrPl, K1, K3, K4, Mi, NE, NY, Pa, Mackenzie (1931-1935)
