Cyperus

not marked as a favorite taxon *Cyperus involucratus Rottbøll. Common name: Umbrella-Plant. Phenology: Jun-Nov. Habitat: Cultivated and persistent, also naturalizing in disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of Africa. Naturalized north at least to Panhandle FL (Kunzer et al. 2009).
