Cyperus plukenetii Fernald. Starburst Flatsedge, Plukenet’s Flatsedge. Phen: Jul-Oct. Hab: Longleaf pine sandhills, sandy woodlands, thin soils of rock outcrops, and dry, disturbed areas. Dist: NJ, KY, se. MO, and se. OK, south to c. peninsular FL and e. TX.
