Eleocharis equisetoides (Elliott) Torrey. Subgenus: Limnochloa. Section: Limnochloa. Common name: Horsetail Spikerush. Phenology: Jun-Sep. Habitat: Quiet waters of limesink (doline) ponds, natural lakes, borrow pits, ditches, artificial millponds. Distribution: MA south to c. peninsular FL, west to se. TX, AR, s. MO, and se. OK; also near the Great Lakes from NY west to MI, MO. Reported for OK (Buthod & Hoagland 2017).
