Fimbristylis annua (Allioni) Roemer & J.A. Schultes. Annual Fimbry. Phen: Jul-Sep. Hab: Wet, disturbed areas, thin soils of rock outcrops; variously interpreted as entirely alien or partly native. Dist: SE. PA, WV, s. IN, s. IL, MO, e. KS, south to n. peninsular FL, s. TX, s. AZ, and south through Mexico to Central and South America; West Indies; Eurasia, Africa, etc.
