Cyperus blepharoleptos Steudel. Cuban-bulrush. Hab: Ponds and marshes, especially in floating vegetation mats, ditches. Dist: Very likely accidentally introduced in the Southeastern US via shipping (first known occurrences in Mobile, AL in 1882 and New Orleans, LA in 1889).
