*Cortaderia selloana (Schultes & Schultes f.) Ascherson & Graebner. Common name: Pampasgrass. Phenology: Aug-Nov. Habitat: Barrier island marsh edges, other disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of South America. This grass is a popular ornamental, sometimes escaping.
