Dichanthelium clandestinum (Linnaeus) Gould. Deer-tongue Witchgrass. Phen: May-Oct. Hab: Shaded to filtered woodlands, ditches and low areas, and often in moist sandy soil. Dist: NS and QC south to n. FL, west to IA, KA, and TX.
