Dichanthelium columbianum (Lamson-Scribner) Freckmann. Common name: American Witchgrass. Phenology: Jun-Oct. Habitat: Dry to moist thin woods and open ground, usually in sandy soil. Distribution: S. ME, s. ON, and WI south to GA, TN, and IL.
