Glyceria septentrionalis A.S. Hitchcock. Common name: Floating Mannagrass, Eastern Mannagrass. Phenology: May-Jun. Habitat: Shallow water, wet mucky soils, floodplain slough, cypress ponds. Distribution: MA west to MN, south to SC, ne. GA, and TX.
