Leersia oryzoides (Linnaeus) Swartz. Rice Cutgrass. Phen: Jun-Nov. Hab: Marshes, riverbanks, pond-shores, and a wide diversity of other wetlands. Dist: NS west to BC, south to Panhandle FL and CA; also in Europe and e. Asia (where probably introduced).
