*Panicum bisulcatum Thunberg. Blackseed Panic Grass. Hab: Wet, disturbed, open areas, including old rice impoundments; also historically on ballast. Dist: Native of Asia. Reported introduction in SC, GA, and PA (Kartesz 1999), and as a ballast plant for se. PA (Philadelphia) (Rhoads & Klein 1993, as P. acroanthum Steudel).

Origin/Endemic status: E. and se. Asia

Taxonomy Comments: Panicum bisulcatum is not a Panicum, and may be best placed in Sacciolepis (Zuloaga et al. 2018).

Synonymy: = FNA25, K1, K3, K4; = n/a – C, Pa, RAB; > Panicum acroanthum Steud.
