*Cenchrus longisetus M.C. Johnston. Feathertop. Phen: Jun-Oct. Hab: Cultivated as an ornamental, and sometimes escaped. Dist: Native of W. Asia and ne. Africa. Reported as an introduction in GA (Kartesz 1999), apparently erroneously.

Origin/Endemic status: Mediterranean Europe and Africa

Synonymy: = K4, Tx, Chemisquy et al (2010); = Pennisetum villosum R.Br. ex Fresen. – C, ETx1, FNA25, HC, K1, K3, NcTx
