Tridens carolinianus (Steudel) Henrard. Common name: Carolina Triodia, Carolina Fluffgrass. Phenology: Aug-Nov. Habitat: Mesic swales in sandhills. Distribution: S. NC south to c. FL (Orange and Hillsborough counties), west to LA.
