Festuca octoflora Walter var. octoflora. Common name: Southern Six-weeks Fescue. Phenology: Apr-Jun. Habitat: Fields, roadsides, disturbed areas. Distribution: S. NJ south to FL, west to TX and n. Mexico, north in the interior to MO and OK.
