Amorpha nitens F.E. Boynton. Dark Indigo-bush, Shining Indigo-bush. Phen: Apr-Jun. Hab: Dry to mesic upland and riparian forests, ravines, bluffs, stream banks, glade margins, sandy woodlands, rocky slopes, bottomland forests, especially on calcareous or mafic rocks. Dist: S. SC south to GA, west to s. LA, north in the interior to w. KY, s. IL, AR, and e. OK. First reported for SC by Nelson & Kelly (1997) and for MS by John Kees (2021).
