Baptisia arachnifera Duncan. Common name: Hairy Rattleweed, Hairy Wild Indigo. Phenology: May-Jun. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills. Distribution: Endemic to GA (Wayne and Brantley counties).
ID notes: Unmistakable for its simple leaves and dense "cobwebby" pubescence.
