Robinia nana Elliott. Common name: Sandhill Bristly Locust, Dwarf Bristly Locust. Phenology: Apr-Jun; Jul-Oct. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills, dry rocky forests (especially associated with chestnut oak). Distribution: Se. and nc. NC south through SC to GA and AL.
