Sesbania

not marked as a favorite taxon Sesbania drummondii (Rydberg) Cory. Common name: Rattlebox, Poisonbean, Siene Bean, Indigo sauvage (frc). Phenology: Jun-Sep. Habitat: Disturbed areas, spoil, marsh edges, ditches. Distribution: Native on the Gulf Coast west to s. Texas and Mexico (Tamaulipas), the exact eastern edge of the native range uncertain, perhaps w. Florida Panhandle. First reported for Georgia and South Carolina by Townsend et al. (2000), where clearly introduced.
