Senega brevifolia (Nuttall) J.F.B. Pastore & J.R. Abbott. Subgenus: Senega. Section: Cruciatae. Shortleaf Milkwort, Little-leaf Milkwort. Phen: Jun-Oct. Hab: Pine savannas, pocosin margins, pocosin interiors after fire. Dist: NY (presumably Long Island) and NJ south to Panhandle FL, west to s. MS.
