Geum canadense Jacquin. White Avens. Phen: May-Jul; Jul-Nov. Hab: Moist slope forests, bottomland forests, swamp forests, tidal swamps, rarely in submesic forests. Dist: NS west to ND, south to c. GA and TX; allegedly disjunct in Mexico (Villaseñor 2016).
