*Prunus padus Linnaeus. Subgenus: Padus. European Bird Cherry. Phen: Apr-May; Jun-Aug. Hab: Suburban woodlands. Dist: Native of Europe. Cultivated and rarely escaped at least as far south as se. PA (Rhoads & Klein 1993; Rhoads & Block 2007) and DE (Kartesz 1999).
