Hexastylis chueyi (B.T. Sinn) Weakley & D.B. Poindexter. Chuey’s Heartleaf. Phen: Mid Apr-early May. Hab: Shaded slopes with exposed rock near streams and rivers. Dist: Apparently endemic to the Blue Ridge / Piedmont escarpment of c, VA (Albemarle, Amherst, and Nelson counties); and disjunct to Greene County, TN.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Syn: = Weakley & Poindexter (2020a) in Weakley et al (2020); = Asarum chueyi – K4, Sinn (2015)
