Ulmus crassifolia Nuttall. Cedar Elm. Phen: Jul-Oct. Hab: Bottomland forests, hardwood flatwoods; rarely river bluffs and ravines. Dist: W. TN, s. MO, and OK south to MS, LA, TX, and Mexico; disjunct in e. Panhandle FL.
