Quercus chapmanii Sargent. Subgenus: Quercus. Section: Quercus. Subsection: Stellatae. Chapman Oak. Phen: Feb-Mar; Sep-Nov (of the same year). Hab: Dry pinelands, longleaf sandhills, scrubby flatwoods, Florida scrub (more abundant often on white sands). Dist: A Southeastern Coastal Plain endemic: se. SC south to s. FL, west to sw. AL.

Synonymy: = Fl2, FNA3, K1, K3, K4, RAB, S, S13, WH3; = Quercus obtusiloba Michx. var. parvifolia Chapm.
