Selaginella eclipes W.R. Buck. Hidden Spikemoss. Phen: Jun-Oct. Hab: Moist, calcareous areas. Dist: W. CT, w. MA, NY, and ON west to WI and IA, south to s. OH, nc. KY, ne. TN, se. TN, nw. GA, s. IN., s. IL, and c. AR. Found in ne. TN in 2021 by Mason Brock. Because of superficial similarity to L. apodum, perhaps to be found in additional areas.
