Mucura bipinnata (Cavanilles) L.A. Triana & Sundue. Bipinnate Cuplet Fern. Hab: Moist to wet hammocks. Dist: FL; West Indies; Mexico, Central America, and South America. Wunderlin & Hansen (2000) treat occurrences in Seminole and Duval counties as introduced. The presumably native populations near Lake Okeechobee have been extirpated.
