Muscadinia rotundifolia (Michaux) Small var. pygmaea (McFarlin ex D.B. Ward) Weakley & Gandhi. Scrub Muscadine, Scrub Grape. Hab: Florida scrub. Dist: This entity is narrowly endemic in scrub habitats of the c. FL peninsula (Polk and Highlands counties) (Ward 2006b; Weakley et al. 2011).

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Additional study is needed. This taxon's affinities appear to be with M. munsoniana, so if it is to be recognized in Muscadinia, and M. munsoniana accorded specific rank, a new combination at either varietal or specific rank will be needed.
