*Striga gesnerioides (Willdenow) Vatke. Cowpea Witchweed, Tobacco Witchweed. Phen: Aug-Oct. Hab: Cultivated fields, parasitic on Fabaceae (specifically Indigofera hirsuta and Alysicarpus ovalifolius in our area). Dist: Native of the Old World.
