Viola septemloba Leconte. Section: Nosphinium. Subsection: Borealiamericanae. Southern Coastal Violet. Phen: Late Mar-early May. Hab: Longleaf pine sandhills, other sandy pinelands and secondary habitats derived from them. Dist: Se. VA south to s. FL, west to LA, mainly on the Coastal Plain.
