Viola egglestonii Brainerd. Phen: Apr-May. Hab: Calcareous barrens and glades, also in disturbed calcareous sites. Dist: Interior Highlands, s. IN s. to nw. GA and n. AL (Chester, Wofford, & Kral 1997), nw. GA (Jones & Coile 1988), IN, KY, and AL (Kartesz 1999).
