HYPERICACEAE

Hypericum mitchellianum Rydberg. Blue Ridge St. John’s-wort. Phen: Jul-Aug. Hab: Grassy balds, grassy openings, forests, seepages, at moderate to high elevations (generally at 1000-1900 m or more). Dist: W. VA, e. WV, and e. TN south to sw. NC, a Southern Appalachian endemic.

Syn: = C, F, G, GW2, K1, K3, K4, RAB, S, Tn, Va, W, WV, Adams (1973); = Hypericum ×mitchellianum – FNA6, Robson (1985, 1990, 2001, 2002, 2006)
