Oenothera humifusa Nuttall. Seabeach Evening-primrose, Spreading Evening-primrose. Phen: (Jan-) May-Oct (-Dec). Hab: Coastal sand dunes, disturbed sandy areas and lawns on barrier islands. Dist: S. NJ south to s. FL, west to s. LA, along the coast.
