Rhexia lutea Walter. Yellow Meadow-beauty, Golden Meadow-beauty. Phen: Apr-Jul (-Sep). Hab: Wet pine flatwoods and savannas, seepage slopes, and bogs. Dist: A Southeastern Coastal Plain species: e. NC south to ne. FL and Panhandle FL, and west to se. TX.

ID notes:The only yellow-flowered Rhexia and also our most bushy-branched species.
