Tofieldia glabra Nuttall. Carolina Bog Asphodel, White Asphodel. Phen: (Late Aug-) late Sep-Oct (-Nov); Oct-Nov. Hab: Pine savanna-pocosin ecotones, wet pine savannas, seepage bogs. Dist: Endemic to the Coastal Plain (including Sandhills) of NC and northern SC; reports from GA are dubious.
