Lechea deckertii Small. Deckert's Pinweed. Hab: Florida scrub, longleaf pine sandhills. Dist: Sc. GA (Jones & Coile 1988) south to s. FL and e. Panhandle FL.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Other Comments: J.K. Small (1933) distinguished an additional taxon, Lechea myriophylla from L. deckertii by its apparently elliptic leaf blades and globose capsules (vs. subulate to elliptic-subulate leaves and depressed globose capsules of L. deckertii). Little investigation has since ensued in regards to this name.
