Turritis glabra Linnaeus. Common name: Tower Mustard, Towercress. Phenology: May-Jun; Jul-Aug. Habitat: Prairies, calcareous forests and woodlands, open disturbed areas, forest edges. Distribution: Circumboreal, south in North America to NC, sc. TN (Chester, Wofford, &Kral 1997), AR, KS, NM, and CA.
Origin/Endemic status: Native
