Paronychia fastigiata (Rafinesque) Fernald var. fastigiata . Common Forked Whitlow-wort. Phen: Jun-Oct. Hab: Dry, usually rocky, woodlands, often on thin soil around outcrop edges. Dist: MA and VT west to se. MN, south to Panhandle FL and e. TX.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: The three varieties of P. fastigiata (though accepted by Chaudhri and many recent floras) need additional investigation to confirm their taxonomic status, habitats, and geographic ranges.
