*Salsola kali Linnaeus var. kali . Northern Saltwort. Phen: Jun-frost. Hab: Upper beaches, fore-dunes, and island-end flats. Dist: NL (Newfoundland) to SC; Europe. Generally considered to be introduced in North America, but it may well be a native.
