Halesia diptera J. Ellis var. diptera . Common Two-wing Silverbell. Phen: Mar-May; Jul-Sep. Hab: Bottomland forests, forested edges of brackish marshes. Dist: Var. diptera ranges from s. SC south to Panhandle FL, west to n. AL, sw. AR, and e. TX.
