Sarracenia psittacina Michaux. Parrot Pitcherplant. Phen: Late Mar-May. Hab: Savannas, less commonly on floating peat mats. Dist: This distinctive species is distributed primarily in the East Gulf Coastal Plain, but ranges east to the Atlantic Coastal Plain of e. GA (Bullock County), in close proximity to the SC border.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Var. okefenokeensis may have merit, but needs additional study.
