Elliottia racemosa Muhlenberg ex Elliott. Elliottia, Southern-plume, Georgia-plume, 'Laurel'. Phen: Jun-Aug. Hab: Xeric sandy ridges, sandhills, river bluffs; serpentine woodlands. Dist: Endemic to e. GA and s. SC (Aiken County, where considered to have been extirpated).

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Other Comments: Elliottia extends barely into the Piedmont in Georgia, occurring on Burks Mountain on serpentine in a Pinus palustris woodland.

Synonymy: = FNA8, K1, K3, K4, S, Luteyn et al (1996); = n/a – RAB
