Galium asprellum Michaux. Rough Bedstraw. Phen: Jun-Oct. Hab: Fens, bogs, streambanks, wet meadows, usually in at least somewhat base-rich soils. Dist: NL (Newfoundland) west to MN, south to n. VA, w. NC, ne. TN (Chester, Wofford, & Kral 1997), and MO (Yatskievych 2013)
