Galium virgatum Nuttall. Common name: Ozark Bedstraw. Phenology: Mar-Jun. Habitat: Glades, ledgetops, rocky prairies, open blackland prairies (GA), waif around wool-combing mill (SC), other disturbed areas. Distribution: Native from TN, c. GA (Houston County), and AL west to KS, OK, and TX (not listed for Mexico in Villaseñor 2016).
