Asclepias cinerea Walter. Ashy Milkweed, "Carolina Milkweed". Phen: Late May-Sep (-Nov); Jun-Sep (-Dec). Hab: Pine savannas. Dist: E. SC south to n. peninsular FL, west to Panhandle FL and se. AL. Previous report of this species for NC and ne. SC was based on a misdetermined specimen of A. michauxii.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Synonymy: = Fl5, FNA14, K1, K3, K4, RAB, S, WH3, Woodson (1954)
