*Dioscorea bulbifera Linnaeus. Section: Enantiophyllum. Common name: Air Yam. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Disturbed forests, thickets, and banks. Distribution: Native of Africa and Asia. Reported for Camden County, GA (Carter, Baker, & Morris 2009).

Origin/Endemic status: Paleotropics
