Asclepias pedicellata Walter. Stalked Milkweed, Savanna Milkweed. Phen: Mar-Nov (-Dec); May-Nov (-Dec). Hab: Dry longleaf pine savannas, wet pine flatwoods. Dist: Se. NC south to s. FL and Panhandle FL.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Other Comments: This species generally occurs in small populations of widely scattered individuals; populations of more than 50 individuals are rare.
