APOCYNACEAE

Asclepias tomentosa Elliott. Sandhill Milkweed. Phen: Jun; Jul. Hab: Longleaf pine sandhills, coastal dunes. Dist: Sc. NC south to s. FL, west to se. AL and Panhandle FL; disjunct in e. TX. The curious distribution is mapped and discussed by Sorrie (2016).
